Kerala Fish Fry
Here comes the yummy kerala fish fry for all of you... I got the fresh water fish so thought to fry them...You can use any fish... Its yummy spicy and tasty... With all those super spices marinated to the fish... and shallow fired in coconut oil... wow... finger licking!!! No more description lets go the recipe...
Note:
Ingredients:
- Fish 1/2 kg
- Shallots a hand full
- Garlic 2-3 cloves
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
- Aniseed (saunf) 1tsp
- Mustard Seed 1/2 tsp
- Lemon Juice 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil to shallow fry.
Method:
- First clean and dry the fish nicely. You can use any fish for this recipe.
- In a blender blend together shallots, garlic, turmeric, red chilli powder, aniseed, mustard seed, lemon juice, salt into a fine paste by adding little water.
- Now marinate fish with the prepared masala. You can do this overnight and use the fish next day.
- Now shallow fry the fish both the side nicely.
- Serve it with Steamed Rice and enjoy.
- Its your choice how spicy you like.
- Shallots or madras onion is available in any South Indian store.
