Pizza with onion and capsicum



"Pizza" an international guest who has entered each ones heart in India... is now a famous fast food around the world. I have made my own pizza dough you can buy the ready made one from any super market.
Making the dough, making sauce, rolling the dough, spreading the sauce and then adding the toppings to it at last bake it in oven or pan toast it, that's all you need to do delicious hot fresh pizza is ready to eat...enjoy this recipe this monsoon.


Ingredients:
For Pizza Dough:
I have stuffed pieces of cheese around the pizza seal the base 


  1. All purpose flour  -- 2 cup
  2. Active Yeast  --  2 tsp
  3. Warm water  --  1 cup
  4. Sugar  --  1 tsp
  5. Olive oil  --  as per requirement
  6. Salt to taste
Method:
  • Dissolve the yeast in the warm water with sugar and let it rise for 10 minutes.
  • Once its raised that means your yeast is active if you use very hot water to dissolve the yeast then it will kill the yeast.
  • Now add the flour and salt and then mix it nicely to make a smooth dough. Now keep it in a bowl and then add some more olive oil to it and then cover with the plastic cover and keep it aside for about 5-6 hours in warm place.
  • Now after all this your dough will be perfect to make pizza.
Ingredient for Pizza Sauce:

  1. Onions chopped finely  --  3
  2. Tomatoes  --  2 chopped
  3. Garlic  --  3 big cloves
  4. Chilli Powder  --  1/2 tsp
  5. Tomato Sauce  --  1 tablespoon
  6. Salt to tatste
  7. Olive Oil  --  2 tablespoon
Method:
  • Now heat some oil in a kadai and then saute the onions and crushed garlic nicely. 
  • Add the tomatoes and saute nicely.
  • Now add some salt and chilli powder and saute till the oil separates.
  • At last add the toamto sauce and switch off the flame.
  • Now after it cools down grind it into paste with enough water to bring it to correct consistency and here is your pizza sauce ready.
Ingredient for Toppings:


  1. Onion Rings  --  2
  2. Tomatoes  --  1 sliced
  3. Capsicum  --  2 sliced
  4. Cheese I have used Cheddar and Mozerella Cheese for my topping.
  5. Mixed Italian Herbs


Method:
  • Take a nice ball from the dough and then roll it into round shape with rolling pin. Your pizza base can be either thick or thin crust it all depends on your idea and taste.
  • Now once you have rolled your base in shape spread the prepared pizza sauce over it and then top it with pizza toppings. At last grate the cheese over the topped base and then bake it in oven at 200 degree for 10-15 minutes or you can pan toast it with lid till it done and your base is crisp.
  • Now your pizza is ready just sprinkle some italian herbs to it and serve hot!
