Chinese Chilli Chicken

This is my style Chinese Chilli Chicken with lots of vegetables you should like this. This recipe is little different from what you usually get from the restaurant. I have added some veggies to this recipe its a new twist of taste and plus its healthy. Chinese cooking is really easy and takes minimum time to cook once all your ingredients are ready then its just a matter of seconds your recipe will be ready! I usually like this recipe with chapatis. It really goes well! You can have it with steamed rice or noodles its your choice or have it just like that it doesn't need any combinations.

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken Boneless  --  250gms
  2. Onions diced  --  1 large.
  3. Capsicum  --  1 sliced
  4. Carrots sliced  --  1
  5. Broccoli florest  --  1cup
  6. Spring Onions sliced  --  1 cup
  7. Green Chillies  --  2-3 sliced
  8. Chopped Garlic  --  2 tablespoon
  9. Crushed garlic  --  1 tsp
  10. Chopped ginger  --  1 tsp
  11. Dark Soya sauce  --  2tsp
  12. Green Chilli Sauce  --  1tsp
  13. Maida  --  1 tsp
  14. Cornflour  --  1 tsp
  15. Refined Oil  --  1 tablespoon
  16. 1 tablespoon Corn flour dissolved in 2 tablespoon water.
  17. Salt to taste.

Method:

  • First coat the chicken with crushed garlic, salt, 1 tsp soya sauce, 1 tsp chilli sauce and keep it for some time.
  • Now after a while add 1 tsp corn flour and 1 tsp maida to it and toss it well.
  • Now pan fry the boneless marinated chicken in a tawa with just little refined oil.
  • After the chicken is roasted well both the side keep it aside and heat about 1 tablespoon of refined oil in a wok.
  • When the oil is really hot add the chopped garlic, ginger and give it a quick stir.
  • Now just speed up your hand chinese cooking need very less time and should be cooked in high flame through out so keep all the ingredients ready.
  • Quickly add the onions and green chillies and give it a stir, say after a gap of 5 seconds add each ingredients and give it a quick stir.
  • Add the sauces and let it sizzle nicely.
  • Add capsicum, carrots, broccoli and half of the spring onions and toss well till all the sauces have coated the veggies nicely.
  • Next add the grilled chicken and again mix it well.
  • Now its time to add the corn flour dissolved in water and give it quick stir.
  • By this time your chicken and veggies should nicely be coated in that sauce. You can check for the salt and add if required as the sauces already have some amount of salt in it.
  • If you like your chilli chicken to have gravy you can make so by adding some amount of hot water to it.
  • Garnish with rest of the spring onions and Enjoy your hot! fresh! home made chinese chilli chicken international style! without any added flavours!
