Plantain Sheera


This time I have bought to you a very healthy sheera... which is very good for small kids they will love it. i have added nice ripe plantains to it. You can add robust banana to it if you like.

Ingredients:

  1. Rava  --  1/2 cup roasted
  2. Sugar  --  2 tablespoon
  3. Boiling Water  --  1 cup
  4. Ripe Plantains chopped  --  1/2 cup
  5. Ghee  --  2 tablespoon
  6. Cardamom seeds powder  --  1/2 tsp
  7. Dry Fruits  --  chopped cashews and raisins as per required
Method:

  • In a deep kadai boil water and add sugar to it when the sugar dissolves completely add the rava and stir in continuously note that there should not be any lumps.
  • Now make a dent in the middle of the sheera and then add the chopped banana and then cover it with the sheera.
  • Now allow it to cook completely in a slow flame.
  • After few minutes mix everything nicely by now the banana would have cooked nicely.
  • Now add ghee and dry fruits and mix it nicely. Switch off the gas and add the cardamom powder. Give it a quick stir and Serve hot.
