INGREDIENTS:

- Maida ( All purpose flour) – 1 cup
- Sugar – ¾ cup
- Curd – ½ cup
- Egg – 1 no
- Cocoa powder – 1/3 cup
- Butter – ¼ cup ( if you prefer)
- Baking powder – ½ tea spoon
- Soda Powder – 1 tea spoon
METHOD:
- Put all the ingredients together and blend it in a mixer to become a batter for 2 minutes.
- Pour this batter in the Pyrex dish and bake it in 400 degree Celsius for 8 minutes. Cake is ready.
INGREDIENTS FOR FROSTING:
- Whipping Cream -- 2 cups
- Sugar Syrup -- 1/2 cup
- Chocolate strings -- 1 cup
- Chocolate decoratives as per your requirements
- Now after your cake has cooled cut it into halves using a sharp big knife now you will get two equal round cakes not semi round!
- Now whip the cream nicely till stiff peaks.
- Next sprinkle some sugar syrup in both the cakes and then add nice scoopful of whipped cream and layer it nicely over the cake.
- Now place the top part of the cake and then add the remaining nice thick layer of cream and then add the chocolate decoratives. I have used strawberry pieces also.
- Refrigerate it till it sets and serve!
