Rava Dosa

Everyday breakfast is really a big question. Morning breakfast is very important as it has to be healthy and fulfilling. Today I thought of making rava dosas. Its so simple to make and is very tasty. So try this recipe its exactly the same as you get in restaurant.
You can make it without adding Onions and Green Chillies its your wish.
Another tip for you is that make the batter a little loose just pour a ladle of batter in the dosa pan and then round the pan so that the batter spreads around. It should be quick in action.

Ingredients:

  1. Rava  --  2 cups
  2. Rice flour  --  1/2 cup
  3. Onions  --  1 chopped finely.
  4. Green Chillies  --  3 chopped finely
  5. Sugar  --  1 tablespoon
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Water to make batter
  8. Oil for greasing
Method:
  • Soak rawa in about 1 cup of water for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Then add the rice flour and then mix well. Add chopped onions, green chillies and then add sugar, salt to taste.
  • Add water and make the batter in pouring consistency the batter should be thin.
  • Grease the pan with some oil and then pour the batter when the pan is little hot. Round the pan as soon as you pour the batter.
  • Add a little oil around the dosa and then when the dosa is done take it slowly and turn it over.
  • Cook the other side till done and then serve hot with coconut chutney.
